What To Do If Your Hearing Aids Aren’t Working

If you are experiencing a problem with your hearing aids, we are here to help! The Hearing Center offers a Walk-In Repair Clinic on Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:30am and on Thursdays from 1:00pm-2:30pm. During this time, we will clean your hearing aids and perform a listening check. This will allow us to determine if the problem is due to ear wax build up, if a part needs to be replaced in-house or if the hearing aid needs to be sent to the manufacturer for repair.

If the hearing aid appears to be in good working order, we will be able to schedule an appointment for an updated hearing test and/or hearing aid programming to further evaluate the problem.

For those whose hearing aids are under warranty through Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute the Walk-In clinic services are free! To those outside of their warranty period or whose hearing aids were purchased at an outside center please feel free to utilize the services provide by the Walk-In clinic for a low fee.

In the event the Walk-In clinic times do not suit your schedule please feel free to drop by The Hearing Center during business hours. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. You also have the option to drop off your hearing aids and we will contact you when they are cleaned and ready to go.

We want you to be successful with your hearing aids and to be able to communicate with your friends and family so do not hesitate to contact our office for assistance if needed.
