Are you experiencing difficulties with your hearing aids? This could be anything from them not sounding quite like they should, charging or battery life issues, Bluetooth connectivity problems, and so much more.
What are steps you can take to fix them?
- Clean them!
This should always be your first step when troubleshooting your hearing aids. Wipe down the device and dome with a tissue and most importantly change your wax filter. Many times this quick step can be the solution to what seems like a hearing aid that is not working.
- Call the clinic
If cleaning doesn’t work or you have a different issue you can call The Hearing Center and we can help you figure out the next steps you need to take.
- Walk in Clinic or Drop them off
The Hearing Center offers a Walk-In Repair Clinic on Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:30am and on Thursdays from 1:00pm-2:30pm. During this time, we will clean your hearing aids and perform a listening check. This will allow us to determine what the issue may be and what the next steps that need to be taken to fix it.
If the Walk-In clinic times don’t work for you during business hours you can drop them off. We will clean them and perform a listening check and will call you to let you know if we were able to resolve the issue or what needs to be done to do so.
- Schedule an appointment with you audiologist!
If nothing seems to be working or you just still aren’t sure what to do you can always schedule an appointment with your audiologist. They will troubleshoot and help figure out the best way to solve your hearing aid issues.
