Meet our New Extern Madelyn!

My name is Madelyn Eisen and I am excited to be the 2026-2027 JHBI Audiology Extern. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2023. I am in my fourth year of the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Florida. I am set to graduate this upcoming Spring in May of 2027!

I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from and work alongside a team of talented, compassionate, and hardworking Audiologists. I have already gained valuable knowledge and hands on experience, and I am excited for what this year has in store. One thing that stood out to me about JHBI is the variety of care and services offered for patients. I am especially excited to further develop my skills in areas such as cochlear implants, hearing aids, and vestibular evaluations. 

 In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, reading, and traveling. I grew up in the St. Augustine area and after a few years away for school I am very happy to be home. I look forward to the opportunities, experiences, and growth that the coming year will bring.
